Gregory Hill, owner and director
Greg studied physics at the University of Colorado in Boulder before discovering the world of alternative healing. Greg studied at the Russeto College in Chinese massage and then made a transition to studying at Eight Branches while under the ownership of Rebecca Knighton. Unfortunately, before completing the program, Greg was unable to continue due to travel constraints. Through the amazing way the Universe works, it came to pass that Greg purchased Eight Branches from Rebecca and moved it to Boulder.
Dale Hicks, Zen Shiatsu director and instructor
Dale has been practicing Zen Shiatsu since 1993 and has been teaching for five years. Most of his training was under Sensei Ping Lee, the founder of Taikyo Shiatsu (a form of Zen Shiatsu that incorporates the principles and movements of Taiji Chaun). The techniques of Taiji Chaun, Qigong, hara breathing, body awareness and movement are practices that Dale has incorporated into his teaching. He facilitates a group in Non-Violent Communication. Dale has worked and taught at world class spas including Los Abrigados and Miiamo, both located in Sedona, AZ. Dale moved to Boulder two years ago and opened The School of Zen Shiatsu. He is now excited to be combining his experience and expertise with that of Eight Branches School of Asian Bodywork as a teacher and the director of the Zen Shiatsu program.
Linda Bergstrom, Amma director and instructor

For the next twelve years she practiced Amma and taught Amma, Tai Chi, and the Asian Sciences at the Healing Arts Center. In 2007, she joined up with Eight Branches to update and teach the Amma program.

Our facility is conveniently located in the Northwest corner of Boulder, Colorado. It is easy to get to from Denver, Longmont, and all of Boulder. We have two treatment rooms alongside our classroom. While it is "cozy", we feel it is situated well for learning.
Boulder is an amazing town that has an extensive array of things to do when not in class from hiking trails and biking paths to meditation centers and coffee shops to study in. Boulder has been described as a mecca of alternative healing, and you will find all sorts of healing modalities.
Eight Branches is registered with and regulated by the State of Colorado's Department of Private Occupational Schools.
